ANYONE ELSE JUST LOVE CARNIVALS & FAIRS?? I love everything about it… but my favorite part is the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Food! What is your favorite part about Carnivals or Fairs???

  • Danson for Joy

Thanks for the tips! We haven't really done any carnivals as a family yet because our children are so little, but I'd love to go on a carnival date with my husband! 😉

I avoid them… but now that I can actually let the kids ride some rides without spending a fortune. I'll try out again. Strawberry Days!

My husband and I love the mouse game! The prizes may not be as big, but it's only 25 cents and a lot of fun. I usually bring about $2-$3 in quarters for us to blow on it, but honestly we usually win at least once even with such a small amount of cash. It may not be the same everywhere, but the mice we see at our carnival always look well fed and not mistreated at all (otherwise we wouldn't support it). The games that give goldfish as prizes, however, are a different story. I think our carnival stopped doing that a few years ago but I know some still do it, and it's really sad what happens to those fish after a long day of being slung around in a bag by a two year old in the summer heat.
