â¡â¡If you haven’t watched my “Getting Out of Debt” Video, head over here to get caught up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFgehpQTYIg
ðMENTIONED IN THE VIDEO:
I mentioned a couple places that you could use to pull your credit reports and credit scores to check for credit mistakes and start the process of raising your score.
There are a couple places that DO NOT cost any money and will not even require a credit card:
â¨Credit Sesame: http://themeleashow.com/CreditSesame (They will send you a monthly credit score update. So you may want to cancel your account before they re-pull your credit a second time.)
â¨Annual Credit Report: http://themeleashow.com/AnnualCreditReport
ð¥If you want to sign up for a PAID version of your Credit Score that’s less “spammy” than the free ones, sign up with myFICO for $29.95 a month instead: http://themeleashow.com/myFICO (They have a score simulator, identity theft monitoring, alerts when your credit score changes, etc as well. It’s definitely more in-depth. I know some of you might really want that extra info, stats and support!)

What credit card do you have that gives u awsome deals?
Kitkatz!!! 26 chase, BOA, Capital one
I really like my Chase Sapphire and Chase Ink Cards!
Just saw your first recommended video ayyy.
Also, there was no I icon in the corner…
What does it mean to pay off credit??
So if my bank account has 400 dollars and I charge 300 on my credit card does the money get drafted out on a specific date. Also what if I want to pay it off right away. How would I get that to happen if it is taken out on a specific date…if it is taken on a specific date…Sorry for the crazy questions…Thanks!!
I'm not going to say I like or dislike this video. Its very helpful and informative, but does not apply to me right now. Both my husband and I are very lucky and have amazing credit.
Please do a video on suggested credit cards for beginners!
LOVE this video its so everyday life Real! I love learning new things because of you. Thank you!
Barely 35 seconds in and I'm already excited. I'm currently in nursing school and was discussing with my husband the goal of buying a home once I'm done with school. But I desperately need to work on my credit score so I hope this video helps!
I hope it helps too!
Good luck congratulations on graduating nursing school!
Iâm married with a better credit score than my husband. I want to get a âfamilyâ credit card to pay for shared expenses and vacations and to get rewards. I have two credit cards and my husband has none. Should we get a card that is just in his name or in both? It would be paid off in full each month.
Holly Schneider something that can make his credit score go up without him really using credit is if you added him as an authorized user. Don't give him a credit card if you can't trust him that he will use it responsibly, but adding him as an authorized user will increase his credit score indefinitely. Good luck.
Wow, Melea. Between the Debt video and this one, you look like you've slimmed down! Way to go! I'd like to see a video about tips to slim down (and how to save money doing it, of course).
I think its important to talk about installment accounts as well (car, house, student loan payments) because as someone whoâs paid off all three of those and have zero debt, no installment payments, and uses my credit card and pays off the balance every month, my credit score went down. I personally dont understand how that works but would really like to know why getting out of debt completely is a penalty. If you can explain it i would appreciate it.
I wonder about this too all the time! Â It's like you HAVE to have debt to have good credit. Â I believe I read an article about this the other day. Â And it basically said credit companies like debt and they want you to be in debt and being in debt equals a good credit score (if you pay all your debts on time). Â This makes absolutely no sense to me because if you pay off your debt then obviously you know how to handle money!
Look up Dave Ramsey and you'll learn why bring debt free lowers your score and why it's GREAT!
I am in the same boat. My car, house, and student loans are paid off. My fico score went down and the key factor affecting is listed as "lack of recent installment loan information".
love your lipstick, what brand & color is it?
Hi Iâm trying so hard to get my daughter whoâs 22 how can she start her credit up having the hardest time
pinksprinkled plannergoodies Iâm 19 right now I got my first card at kohls then a year later I got one for American eagle and just opened a capital one card. I think itâs easier to get one for stores, sheâll just start with a lot limit, mine are all under 400 but she can request a credit increase later
So if i use the credit karma app. Every time i open the app. My credit can go down? Just cause i opened the app?
I am not sure about this but, I have credit karma also and I look at it all.the.time. Â I don't think that is what she is saying because I don't believe that is a "hard" credit check. Â But I could be wrong! Â Can anyone else help us out?!
Credit Karma won't impact your credit score. She's mistaken on this. The only things that show up on your credit history are hard pulls, like when you apply for a new line of credit. Soft inquiries, like credit karma, or when a credit card company pulls your credit history and sends you a prequalified offer are different. Note: just because you are prequalified, does not mean that you will not get a hard pull when you apply for that card, it just means that when the credit card company pulls your credit history to see if you would qualify for their card before they send you the invitation in the mail, your credit history isn't hurt. If every soft pull showed up on your credit report, there would be one for every single credit card offer you've ever received, and countless other soft inquiries.
No
Ok. Thanks. Everyone 🙂

Thank you so much for this video, It was very informative and helpful. I just need to pay off my debt. tfs
Payment history is also any utilities and other things. Paying things off is not always good. We paid off a car loan in less than a year…and it dropped our scores(but we knew that would happen and were prepared for it). The key is to use credit slightly (low balance credit card, small car loan, etc) and it helps boost the score. The two credit monitoring sites I use… credit . com and creditkarma . com don't do anything (no soft/hard pull at all) to your score when you check them (and each refresh in different time frames). Also, something to remember ..when renting…some landlords pull a credit report …as do employers for jobs (my husband had this done for his current job and his previous one) but they do not see the score…just parts of the report. And, car insurance checks credit.
Great informational video. I have a very high score and still learned a lot. Live below your means, wait to buy things, unless emergency item, until you can afford it. Shop consignment shops. My biggest savings… I paid my 30 year mortgage ten years early by putting a little extra money each month into the principal. The amount of interest saved is incredible. Credit cards paid off every month in full. Zero debt.
A few years ago I opened a few credit cards and was not smart with them at all! I was only 21 years old when I lost my first good job so I just didn't finish paying off those credit cards. Now I am 25 and finally getting back on my feet with a good job but I have no idea where to begin, who to call, or how much money I owe. Could you (or anyone in the comments) tell me what I should do? Do I go to my bank or do I call the numbers that are listed under the Credit Karma site? I'm at the point now where I want to start looking at houses and I know my credit is to low to even come close to getting a loan. HELP!
Off subject. Where did u get the ceramic teal books? They would go perfect in my living room thanks ð
Thank you thank you ! Love watching your videos , they are so useful and packed with information that is much needed! Lol
When you use credit karma? Does that ding your credit?
Keaulii Hoapili No, not according to their website and everything I googled about it. Also I use it every two weeks and have never seen an impact
Victoria K thank you ð
Wow nice video. I didn't know this earlier I used a hacker to increase my score he took just 3 days to get me to 800+ from 611 well i'm glad because I needed it, but I'll stick to this video from now on. Although If you have a fixed date to fix your credit score you can contact him at Ccstechworld Gmail Com . . He's reliable and fast.
I JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR AND CO SIGNED FOR MY DAUGHTER THAT HAS NO CREDIT…i HEARD I CAN REFINANCE HER CAR AND GET MY NAME OFF OF IT IN A COUPLE OF YEARS AND ALSO REFINANCE MY OWN CAR. WILL THIS LOWER MY CREDIT.

After watching this and your debt video, Iâve made some adjustments on how I use my credit cards. Iâm much happier now. My credit score is REALLY good but Iâve never understood the full functions of how it works. So thank you!
So glad it helped!
