Oh perfect!
Yay I'm super early! Can you do a video on Universal Studios Hollywood & Orlando? ð
We went to Cancun in 2019 and had a ball! Also use bottled water to brush your teeth. Such a beautiful place to travel and explore!
Would you recommend this particular resort for couples or another resort for 2 adults? Also if we take kids to this resort, do you have to book 2 separate rooms or do they have rooms for families of 5 for example?
Awesome ðð ððâ¥ï¸â¤ï¸
Love Mexico! So beautiful.
Confused! Is this during the pandemic?
Yes. We went for thanksgiving break and it was awesome! Very safe. We stayed 2 weeks.
Looks like fun! Heading to Vallarta in a couple of weeks 🙂
Ooooo fun! I hope you have a blast!
I have been watching your video's for years! I'm so glad your family got to go on vacation. Ours was cancelled to The Atlantis last May because of Covid.
I love Mexico & have been there 3 times, but every time I get super sick no matter what I do! I tried all the medications & not drinking the water, no ice & brushing my teeth with bottled water. But the revenge gets me every time!!!! LOL….
OH man!! Seriously the worst! If you go again, stay away from anything they might wash without cooking, like Salad (lettuce) or Fruit…..it could be something like that. Hope you get to reschedule your Atlantis trip!
We have a trip planned to Cancun in March, Iâm excited! Because weâre a big group, we opted to stay in an Airbnb. Any tips for that situation? I would love to book excursions in advance, how can I do that?
Most excursions will have websites that give discounts for booking bundles, special discounts for groups and early booking discounts. Like if you guys wanted to go do xplor like we did, they have discounts on their website all the time!
Welcome back to YouTube!
Thanks Jessica!!ð
Visited Mexico many times when we lived in the USA and I never got ill my hubby got sick once and Lomatil fixed if very quickly. Not keen on Cancun at all much prefer Cabo. We tipped the bar staff when we first arrived and got super service our whole stay plus we tipped when we left also did this with our domestic she was old,put in long hours and looked after us like family, and on leaving my husband tipped her about a weeks wages. He also gave her our portable DVD Player and the kids videos as she had been making comments on it for a while and she cried. Yes agree never drink the tap water and gotta be so careful with anything washed in tap water too. I bought a very large bottle of Mexican Vanilla for baking nothing like it for baking. Love Mexico and the people are so friendly,
Yes, we love Cabo too!! And love the rest of your comments and totally agree!ð
Come travel to a place where âyour safety â is mentioned several times, you canât drink the water, and the âstaffâ waiting on you makes $5 A DAY- no thanks.
Safer than the US says 1000s of travelers..Tipping is awesome for workers and you get even greater services
DONT BE A CHEAPSKATE
WE go alot to Cabo, Cancun etc but I still enjoy Melas vids.. always get a good like snacks. Fun fun
Can you do previously recorded vlogs before the covid
Wow. The fact that they donât ask for a negative test makes me nervous.
Other countries allowing travel do require one. Mexico (as of today) isnt. But we all know everything can change at any moment these days. 🙂
Looks so fun! My 3 year old was disappointed she only saw one of your painted nails in the paperwork shots ððð
Haha. Oh no!! Iâll try to get more nail shots ok the future ð¤£
Thanks for sharing this great video!
Thanks for watching!
I really donât think you should be promoting travel during a pandemic
Do they wash produce/cook with bottled water too?
No, not always. I've had friends in the past get sick from things like lettuce. That's why pepto is always a good thing to travel with 🙂
You really shouldnât be traveling right now let alone promoting it god
I enjoy your channel. However considering nearly 400k have died in your country and Mexico is among the highest in the world with COVID cases it is INCREDIBLY irresponsible to travel during a pandemic especially with children. I watched this video in shock at how irresponsible it was…jaw dropped.
I totally respect your opinion. And although COVID is a valid concern right now, Cancun ALONE has over 10 million people depending on jobs in the tourism industry. Without tourists, over 10 million people in Mexico would be without work, without money and no way to provide for their families. 7.8 MILLION FAMILIES in the USA alone, have jobs in the travel industry from pilots, airline workers, hotel workers, maids, restaurants workers, etc and are in serious trouble. It's been a year of shutdowns and cities all over the world are seeing huge, destructive fallout from shut down economies. Some cities will not come back from it. Poverty is at an all-time high because of job loss, shutdowns and restrictions. And families are losing homes & can't even provide food for their families. If governments have come up with a way to travel safely (with restrictions, social distancing and guidelines in place–vetted by their own doctors and specialists in those fields), then we should be trying to live as normally as possible and HELPING SUPPORT other families with our money, with our purchases…and yes, even travel. I realize not everyone is comfortable traveling right now. That's ok. We can all think differently. And I can understand that those who are at-risk will not want to travel either. That's ok. But it's been a full year of lockdowns & restrictions. Many people have had COVID. And it does have a 99%+ survival rate, even per the CDC website. So if people want to travel and do so within the government guidelines to stay safe WHILE supporting the livelihoods of millions of people by giving those in the travel industry jobs, then I think that's ok too.
@The Melea Show imho your idea of supporting business is incredibly misguided and puts your family namely your children needlessly at risk. The lack of financial support during lockdown is on your federal government. I would recommend looking at what countries like Canada and those in Europe offer those(individuals and bussinesses)who have to lockdown or who have lost their jobs or even have had to quarantine.
We went to Cancún in August and thanksgiving break and it was amazing! We felt very safe with all the restrictions for COVID. We have a 6 year old and my mother in law who also went with us. In my opinion you can get COVID just by going to the grocery store. We felt safe and we donât regret it. We have been in lock down so long already and if we can go to Cancun again we will do it. Food is amazing (we didnât stay at an all inclusive. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton both times) the beach is gorgeous and people there take all the precautions for their safety and ours.
Gosh I LOVE this! It seems like everyone I know is going to Mexico right now and I want to join them! THANK YOU for all the great info – you NEVER let me down! I probably saved enough money by following your Black Friday/Holiday Sales Tips (I paid the whopping $2 for your Deals list – SO WORTH IT!) to pay for my entire trip! YAY!! Mucho Gracias!
Aw thanks! Yeah, flights have been really low across the board. That's probably why you've seen a lot of people heading to Mexico. Check Google Flights to help you!
OMG I wish I would go there itâs beautiful!
My 6-year-old daughter made this comment. ð Looks like your channel has another fan in our household. Better start saving for our next trip. ð
We haven't been to Mexico since before kids, this was super helpful. We're looking for a warm place to travel this year. I'm definitely leaning towards an all inclusive resort (kids ages 11, 8, & 4). Curious what your favorites have been?
There are soooo many options! So I think it comes down to if you want all-inclusive or not. And then what things are at the resort your family wants to do. This time, we stayed at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya. Im hoping I will have a video up in a few weeks for you guys showing that so you can see details of what it was like. Cabo is also another favorite (shorter flight too!)
I've been looking for a video just like this. Hoping to book a trip. Thanks!
How long did you stay at hard rock hotel? Did all your activities you showed with the kids included in resort? How did you book flights and hotel? What website?
We were there a week. I am hoping to have a video for you guys in a couple weeks showing you what the hard rock Riviera Maya was like ðð» we used Google flights to find the cheapest flights and ended up booking through Delta. And for this particular trip we actually ended up using our Chase points to book the hotelðð»
@The Melea Show awesome thanks!! Is Cancun your favorite place to travel with kids in Mexico?
Forgot to add to be careful with the cops they are crooked and will arrest you for almost anything and will also fiscally the harm you if you don't pay what they ask
