I totally just went to the dollar store yesterday and got my son a paw patrol sandwich holder for his lunch box (he's in preschool) and a paw patrol "snack holder" for his lunch box that I'll put fruit in! I loved it! I also got 2 makeup brushes from wet 'n wild. I've been wanting the crease brush and it was there! Im going back tomorrow to get some more wet 'n wild eyeshadow!! I ran out of money yesterday lol

Do you ever purchase the dollar store glasses and kitchen equipment? I found some metal serving spoons there once and I bought a ton for holidays when you have a bunch of different dishes. They work great. I feel like you get some good quality things I am just always worried that I am able to get it cheaper somewhere else lol.
I've purchased some kitchen things before. But I feel like quality is kinda hit or miss. But that's awesome that you've found great quality items before!

You can buy a big pack of the tape rolls (I think 6-8 rolls) for $1 and then a tape dispenser for $1 – all at DT and save even more

I don't understand why it was such a big deal for your son to want the purple bubbles?
I think she just wanted him to get the bigger amount of bubbles.
It just kind of bugged me that she told him no because the purple one is for girls. I dont know. Not trying to be judgmental or question her parenting skills, I just feel like he would have been happier with the one he personal picked out. I think gender roles are pushed upon kids too much these days and it has had a very big effect on the way kids are treating each other. Especially if the child happens to like something marketed for the opposite gender.. the amount of bullying, teasing, and harrassment children face for simply liking clothes, toys, etc different from what others have been taught has really become a big issue.. I, personally, leaned to more boy-ish toys and clothes when i was younger and faced the bullying myself. I just feel bad for kids in general.. They have so much to live up to and face unnecessary consequences solely for their person preferences.
