I love the energy bits! I use them to boost my nursing supply and my kids are always stealing them! They love them too!

Something that would be more work in the beginning, but save $$ in the long run, would to make your own granola bars, and buy nuts in bulk and package in reusable or zip lock bags instead of buying the pricier individual packages.
With Food being our 3rd largest budget item each month, and the only one I can actually control (the other 2 being rent and paying our nanny) finding ways to cut back on food spending is my #1 goal.
Those protein balls look delicious and I'm craving a tasty snack now! :$

+321zemla Hmmm… Usually the more expensive brands are the ones with the least amounts of sugar and have different products. I would search on GNC for something!
