Since we are mostly gluten-free in my home, our faves are Crispix or Rice Chex. But I saw that Cheerios are going gluten free! So Honey Nut Cheerios are my fave. Yummm!!

We don't eat much cereal here, (no kids in household, just 3 adults), so I buy other 5 save $5 items to get the most bang for my buck AND some great cereal deals. Kroger also gives a 10% discount for folks 59 and over on all Kroger products, even marked down items. All it takes is one person in the household on your linked loyalty card to qualify, and all household members get the discount.

I miss Smiths / Kroger SO much – since moving to Illinois 🙁 I never realized how good of deals they had and my food storage has never looked so empty since we moved last year. My favorite cereal is Raisin Bran Crunch (and the generic kind of it is GROSS). My boys go through SO many boxes of cereal.

I'm a huge Bran Flakes fan. Boring, I know. But I love that I can add fruit to it and it's yummy, I can eat it plain and it's delicious. AND it doesn't make me feel like I have to say, "It's fortified!" to justify eating all the sugar in it :)
