There are many factors in spending less while on cruise trips. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Carls Cruise Cutter (google it if you're interested) it's the most helpful plan i've heard of.look at the great information .

If you are interested in saving money while on cruise trips the best info that ive ever had was by following thePanlarko cruise cutter plannesr (i found it on google) – definately the most helpful idea that I have ever followed.
do you know how many tickets they sell for the halloween party? if its sold out, does that mean it is going to be as busy as it would be on an average day?
Hey Kirstynn, I have no idea how many they sell. You might be able to do a search and find that info though. However, it has always been sold out when we go. And while there are a lot of people there. It's not nearly as crazy as it usually is during the day. We still don't wait very long for rides and if you plan it right, you can walk on a lot of them. (If you do go to the park earlier in the day, you can always get fast passes for later that night during the party!)

I would watch eBay, CraigList, maybe some of the Disney Message Boards, KSL… If I hear of anything I will let you know. But I am betting that one of those will be your best bet. GOOD LUCK!

I have a question regarding the early magic hour. You mentioned that this is only available if you are staying at one of the Disneyland Hotels. I am planning to book our stay at one of the good neighbor hotels, and it shows that with a 3 day ticket purchase, we will have the early magic hour. Do you know anything about this?
Yes, there is a Magic Morning and then Extra Magic Hour. The names are super similar. If you have the 3-Day Park Hopper with Magic Morning, you will get in an hour early on certain days. If you stay at a Disney Resort, you will get the Extra Hour bonus–which gets you in an hour early every day of your hotel stay. The Magic Morning can only be used once and the times are different. OMG!!! I Love the Disney Fairy idea! My husband and I will be taking our 4 and 7 year old on a 5 day Disney Cruise beginning Halloween night. (We're Floridians) I'm totally going to buy Disney goodies for each day of our cruise and coordinate with staff assigned to our room for delivery! To buy Disney toys, t-shirts, treats ect. at discount stores before hand is a Win-Win for ALL!!! Letting the kids know that the Disney Fairy may have visited the room when I'm trying to get them back to the room during the day for a nap or evening because its late, is a great incentive for them to want to head back to the room!!! Thanks for the Tip!!!
No problem! It works wonders for our kids… and they don't ask for those pricey souvenirs during the trip because they know the "Fairies" will be bringing them something awesome!

One way I save money with Disneyland or a Disney Cruise is to buy discounted gift cards from giftcardgranny or ebay! I have gotten gift cards for sometimes up to 20% off. I love them for saving some money on food and souvenirs. Hope this helps! :)

Great tips. I really liked the one about the food and the dilemma of eating at Disneyland or out of the park and getting coupons to make it cheaper when eating at Disneyland from the Anaheim Visitor Center. I am definitely going to try that next time.It is good to know there are options. Thanks!

This was so helpful on our trip to Disneyland last month. Character meals are completely worth it and the way to see characters. No lines and they come right up to your table and you can get pictures with each one! So amazing, not just for kids! We all loved it!
