Grocery shopping, meal planning, debt repayment, helping kids save money would be great ideas.
+Amy Jacobson Love the Kids Saving Money! Great idea!
Super excited!!
I think it would be fantastic if you shared how to find the best deals on or better ways to navigate the Amazon website.
I would love to hear how you manage your money now that you're out of debt and how to change our attitudes (for ourselves and our children) toward money and stay out of debt.
+Lydia Barlow Oh, that's a really good idea! Ill add it to my list.
Another idea for the show: How do you organize what deals you check each day? Do you have a routine? Do you have a list that you run through? Do you start with bookmarked websites? Or perhaps do you go first to your favorite retail websites? Maybe it depends on what you need at the moment?
So excited! I like the grocery shopping idea without coupons. I never have time to sit down and clip coupons. :)
+Natassja McCoy Agreed! I don't have time either. 😉
Super excited! Manage money and grocery shopping, thanks
getting out of debt, grocery shopping, and baby savings!
+Kelly Hofeling I will definitely talk about Baby Savings! Thanks for reminding me. 🙂
+Freebies2Deals my biggest question about baby savings… is it really cheaper to make your own baby food vs buying it! also if it is cheaper to make it what is the savings?
I would love to see u at the checkout at target price matching and using cartwheel. it always seems so intimidating. thanks!
+Christina Garcia I LOVE this idea! I never would have thought that some people think it's intimidating to use the Cartwheel app at checkout. Such a great idea! THANK YOU!
+Freebies2Deals I'm intimidated to price match any where. I know you can do it….but how do you do it? And without creating a huge line behind you? I'd love to watch you do that at different stores if it works differently at each store.
I would like to learn more about money saving apps. like Ibotta, Mint, etc. Thanks!
Travel deals for large families!
+Jenny M Definitely!
Probably a really dumb question… But where do we subscribe? Is it your freebies 2 deals account that we watched this videos on?
+Tara Hart You can click that RED Subscribe button when you are watching the video, or just head here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Freebies2Deals?sub_confirmation=1
Very excited about your show. I would love for you to do a piece on entrepreneurship, especially for moms or women in general.
+Luisa Hansen Great idea! Like how to start your own business? Or make money from home?
How to teach small children the importance of the dollar…i.e. they can't have everything they want.
+Kathy Davis Already have a great segment in mind. Great idea!
So excited that this will be online! Yayyy! Looking forward to it. I would love to hear how to "juggle" your debts. We are so, so, close to paying off all credit card debt that was accumulated while we were poor college students. I have learned how to shop smart (thanks to you!), and I have earned money to save by being an Usborne consultant. But now we are looking at paying off a car, and student loans. We have been really reasonable with those, and don't have a lot to pay off, but at the same time we want to save for family vacations and eventually for a home. Juggling those priorities is hard! But I would love to hear real life solutions to those things, that other people have done, when financial help isn't available from extended family and there are little kids still in the home.
+Erin Jalysa Dougal Yes, will do for sure!
money saving ideas while raising tweens and teens? getting out of debt? I'm excited to watch your show. congrats on your dream coming true!
+Nikki Jeske Getting out of debt is a big one for a lot of people. So I will have to do probably a few different segments just on that. 🙂
This is so amazing, God Bless You on this awesome new project. Definitely help us to get out of debt and for our kids to understand money and when we can't buy something, just can't. Thank you.
So excited! Groceries and debt are my focus. Best of luck. I'll be watching happily and gratefully. :)
You're amazing, Malea! And I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see the first Episode next week!
I'd love seeing meal planning and grocery shopping lists. I'd love to see you in the grocery store – whole trips – with the kiddos. How you balance finding the best deals while keeping your kids from going stir crazy. Maybe I'm the only one that happens to?? I also find it intimidating to show coupons, etc at the checkout like someone earlier mentioned, so seeing you do it would be awesome!
Also, I'd love to see a 'typical day in the life of Malea" where we can see how you go about finding all the deals, etc.
And lastly, do you keep a running list of things you'd like to purchase but want to wait for a deal on?
I feel like when I check the daily emails I see so much great stuff and it's on such a great deal that I need to run and grab it, even though it's not something I necessarily need or should put toward. Does that make sense? Anyway, how to choose what you should actually buy, instead of buying things just cause they're a good deal.
+Morgan McRory Lots of good feedback! So basically, you want to see me being crazy, lol. 😉 Those are great ideas. Ill add them to my list!
We're all a little crazy! Your crazy just seems to have more output than most!
Running savings! How to save on high end running shoes and race entries.
+Heidi Summers Good idea! I know a few bloggers/IGers that could give some training tips too. 🙂
How awesome. congrats on your show!!
wahoo! you got this! Freebies 2 deals really changed my whole perspective on money! excited for the new show!
+Kate Paulsen Thank you! 🙂
SO excited about your new show Melea! I would like to see how to save money for working Moms who can't run to every store to shop the best deals. Also, my kids hate shopping so anything that saves me time and money would be AMAZING!! You're the best! :)
+Andrea Riddle Definitely!
I need help with meal planning and how to use apps on a phone to save.
I'm so happy for you Melea! I love your blog and now I'm sure I'm going to love this too!
Vacation deals, Healthy Grocery shopping, Debt repayment 🙂 teaching our kids good spending/saving habits
It would be great if the give aways were random. Unfortunately some us who enjoy your postings work and can' t watch until later.
+Ivy Failner Yes, there will definitely be giveaways that aren't time sensitive so everyone can enter too!
You do a great job of this on your blog already, but I would love to learn more about using new "technology" ways to save money. Smiths does digital coupons. Is there any other ways to use digital coupons? From your blog I learned how to use subscribe and save on amazon prime, booked vacations on airbnb, used rebates apps like ibotta, etc. that I NEVER would have known about if it weren't for you. Keep teaching us about the new technology out there to save money. Thanks for all you do btw!
+Tiffany Tucker You've mentioned on your blog using Instagram to save money, so I joined it, but now I have no idea how to use it save money.
+Tiffany Tucker Awesome! So glad it helped! I will keep sharing those ways, for sure. 🙂
So excited for you in this new adventure.. I am excited that is online because I work every day and of course we dont have a tv at work .. so for sure I will be following you 🙂 I will probably need ideas to travel with kids and also good deals to take my families to fun places 🙂 thanks
Congratulations! 🙂 I have to say: I'm really excited that you're doing this on YouTube! It's a lot easier for me to watch whenever I am able and easier to share too! I've been a fan of Freebies2Deals since 2009 and have always used your advice for Black Friday shopping. My family and I have saved sooo much because of your site and I am excited for you to be able to share even more. This year our goal is to get out of debt! Super overwhelming goal, but I'm hoping that programs on your channel will have things that will help us accomplish our goals: tips in general for getting out of debt, food budgeting (because that's where I always spend too much), and how to still have fun for cheap (since we're pinching our pennies but hoping not to become hermits). You've always shared these in the past, but I'm looking forward to actually seeing you in action: at the check out, using your apps or your price deals, so that I don't feel as intimidated. Best of luck on your new endeavor! We'll be watching for sure :)
+Cami Rivas Yes, Getting out of Debt is a big one for a lot of people. Will do for sure!! Thanks so much for your support! XO
So looking forward to your new show !! I'll just take this time to tell you how much I have appreciated all the time and effort that you have put into ALL of your endeavors. I have saved soooo much time and money over the last 4 years, I have so many sample products that I now have a closet that was designated "The Sample Room" !! Thanks again for all you guys do
+Donna Shelley SO SO Cool! I love the sample room name!
So excited about this! I would love a segment on traveling for less, and using credit card rewards to your advantage/ what credit cards have the best rewards!
+Shawnee Burt I've just been doing a lot of research on Credit Card Programs lately and can't wait to share more on what I have been learning! Such a great idea. 🙂
Tips for starving college students or college student hacks!
+Laura Doty That's a good one!
I'm so glad you're doing it online so us out-of-staters can watch!
My questions are do you do allowance? How do you teach your kids about money? If they get some, do you encourage them to save it, or take them to get something they want? How do you handle it when they're at the store begging for something, even something small like a treat? What about bank accounts for kids? My kids get $100 from great grandparents every Christmas, and I have no idea what to do with it. And how do you get your husband to agree to do Disney so much?! My husband thinks our trip we took a year and a half ago is enough to last for years! Any tips for saving on bigger travel, like cruises? And I love the beauty tips and recipes.
Thank you thank you for all of your hard work! You are amazing!
+Nicole Quincy So many great ideas!! Thank you!
Hey everyone
One suggestion for your show…you need a lavalier microphone. Don't just rely on the microphone on your phone or camera. I had to turn my laptop volume up as high as it could go in order to hear you in this video. Best of luck!
