I have downloaded Ibotta but am not really good at using it. I love the other app ideas!
A couple of other aps I have loved and are absolutely easy are Receipt pal and receipt hogs all you do is upload your receipts and you get points which translate to gift cards.
I have the Ibotta App but I will have to use it more often. About the other app, works from Thursday to Wednesday, so if doing grocery on Wed need to upload the receipt right away before 11:59pm.
I'm having trouble on adding as teammate, not sure how to do it.

+supermanfamily4 No, Ibotta won't let you add to a team after you have already signed up–even with a FB friend request. I've chatted with them about it before and there isn't a way. 🙁

I love Ibotta.. Have you ever try Shopkick? is also pretty cool.. you get points just for going into the stores and just scanning items ..sometimes you dont have to buy them just scan them… so after collecting points you can trade those points for gift cards 🙂 .. let me know if you want to see more i can send you a friend request 🙂 is super fun

I have a question about the other coupon apps (like the digital coupon ones). Do you have to add coupons to a specific store loyalty card first or will the coupon come off at whatever store you decide to shop at that week?
+Em Woo Ok eCoupons are different than these CashBack Apps. With CashBack apps, most work by scanning a picture of your receipt. If your grocery store has their own eCoupons App (like Kroger), then you have to add those to your store loyalty card BEFORE you check out–or the money won't come off your bill.
Wal-Marts savings catcher app and savings star app is pretty good to! I have all 4!

Melea,I've wanted to ask someone this forever and I would love a response! Most of these coupon apps are for name brand items, when the generics are cheaper. Why bother with the apps in those cases? I genuinely want to know if there's a reason to go with the more expensive item. For example, the Kroger brand sour cream is always 10/$10 so why buy Daisy brand for $2.39 with a $0.50 cent coupon?! Would love your thoughts!
Great Question! You should always be "mixing". With some of the coupon apps, you will find coupons for things like produce–which is always great. But unless the name brand is cheaper with the coupon app, or you have a reason recipe wise why you would have to get a name brand, you should always go with the cheaper option. My cart is always a mix of name brand deals that were cheaper than the store brand & store brands. Although, I do have a few brands I'm completely loyal too–like Vlasic Pickles. 😉 Other similar products just don't even come close. Hope that helps!
Quick question- I signed up for Ibotta using your referral code. Did I misunderstand when you said that by using your code, I would be linked up to a bunch of people on your team thus earning more bonuses on Ibotta?

can i submit receipt for stores that are not listed on the app ?
0:49 to 4:50, NO VOICE audio whatsoever! Music was low and then blasting. Couldn't hear 90% of what was being said. Otheg videos are playing fine, so it's not on my end.
$2K in "actual cash paid" for receipts, or "savings," after submitting receipts? $2K "savings or cash paid," during what time period , how many months, years?
Weird… it plays just fine for me when I play it? $2,000 in actual cash received from Ibotta. Pretty cool! Probably over a year or so??
