Does your ticket to universal studios include Harry Potter world or is it separate? This video is amazing I have been so many times but didn't know a lot of this stuff. Your kids are adorable

What time of day would you recommend for the Harry Potter area?
VERY first thing you do when you get to the park. And I would be there at park opening. 🙂
Oh my goodness!! I didn't realize all the cool things there are to do at Universal! We have three little little ones with the oldest being 5. Do you think it is worth it to take little little kids? SUPER fun video!!
I would check heights. If your kids are at least 42", you'll be able to go on a lot of rides. The younger ones can do Studio Tour and the shows. They also have child swap, just like Disneyland.
I loved your video on this. we just went to universal studios. I wanted to add a few things to this for others to know because it helped us so much! Did you know about the child switch passes and that there are kids rooms at a few of the rides? blocks, toys and AC? they are awesome and they are usually located right by the front of the line to the rides. we used them and most of the time we didn't have to even wait in the line to get the pass we just asked someone working the ride for one then rode it multiple times! so fun, also did you know that each ride has a password? if you can talk to the people in the red vests they usually have the daily passwords that will get you directly to the very front of the line! seriously so awesome! It was especially helpful in HP land!
YES! I was going to talk about the password on the Harry Potter video. Probably the best kept secret out there! And the rider switch is awesome and air-conditioned, which is nice, haha. Thanks for adding those!
Thanks for the insider tips, great video! I have not been to Universal since I was a little kid, looks so fun! OK, you have to tell me how you go on all these vacations! I love to travel, however we are a 1 income family with 3 little ones, please advise me on travel budgeting :)

We typically fly because we can find flights for usually around $69 each way. But you could easily drive as well. Hotels I look around for the best deal. It's usually a lot of searching but it pays off. For food, you do have to budget for that. A lot of times you can use coupons or offers for chain restaurants that are near the park or on City Walk too.

How many days would you suggest going to universal? I'm taking an 8 and 4 yr old that love transformers, Jurassic world and Harry potter but I'm on the fence whether to do 1 day or 2?
Do 2 days. Your kids are taller/older and will want to do Jurassic and probably the Mummy Ride and Simpsons ride. 2 days should be perfect. Just make sure you are there right when it opens! It's almost dead and you'll want to head to Harry Potter first!

I went there 2 years ago for Christmas & I couldn't go on the minion ride because it was new & WAYY too packed. We had to wait in line for 4hrs
