And itâs all about where to find cheap flights, how to score cheap airline tickets and how you can use any of these tips to even grab last minute airfare at an affordable price! It comes out every Wednesday and is an email I actually sit around and wait for when I am looking for an awesome travel deal.
Fly.com: Use their FARE CALENDAR to search for the lowest dates to fly.
HitList App: Just search for it on your phone and download it! Tell it the places in the world you want to fly to and your hometown. It will notify you when any amazing deals pop up! My Tip? Be ready to book right when you get the heads up. The flights sell out fast!
Skiplagged.com: Enter in your destination city. This website will find flights that go PAST your destination city, but allow you to get off the flight during one of the layover stops. Itâs genius!
Google Flights: Just search for it on Google. You can check out a chart to see lowest and highest prices for each destination throughout the year. It will even tell you which days will save you extra money if you are willing to fly out or come back a day or two earlier.

I use Airfare Watchdog, which sounds pretty similar to HitList. Just put in your to and from and it emails you when there's a deal that comes up.
+Nicole Quincy I've used Airfare Watchdog in the past. But I like HitList a lot more. So definitely try it out. You might like it more too! 😉

And, when searching for flights I always use private browsing so airlines can't track what I'm searching and jack up the prices 🙂 Thanks for your tips!
Skip all of this and just sign up for the airline credit cards. I'm going to Hawaii in May and flight over and back is free, two different airlines. Check out Alaskan Airlines they offer fly miles for signing up and that can get you anywhere you really want to go, one way. Delta does the same, though with their card usually require you to spend $$ within an allotted time to get their miles but spend it on what you were already going to get anyways. Simple budgeting is all it takes. I know American Airlines and Southwest does the same.
+Stephanie Jourdain Airline Credit Cards are definitely awesome! I know a lot of people don't know how to use credit cards the right way and end up paying interest on all of it. BUT, if you don't have that issue, that's definitely the way to go!

Clear your cache and temp files on your browser as well a lot of times it saves the information you last had and you don't get the best deal
Hit list app is only for iPhones. is there one for Android?

What do you do about checked baggage when you use skiplagged?
+Debbie Sorensen You wouldn't be able to use checked baggage if you used skiplagged. You would have to fit what you had on a carry on. Or if you have multiple travelers, get all of your stuff to fit on all of your carry ons.

Thank you so much for this video and for not mentioning Skyscanner! Everyone still mentions this website, but honestly, since their updates, it sucks. Prices are higher and I never get as good of deals as I used to.

Whenever I fly somewhere (e.g. from Sydney to Dhaka) I mostly use skyscanner to check airfares on that route.
But yes I do tend to use google flights sometimes

I have been having trouble really find a good deal to Salt Lake City, Ut. I have been look for almost a year and still and can't get a good deal. I am going to a convention there in June but the pricing is still high any suggestion on what I can do about this
