Do you need a Costco membership card to order through instacart ?
Yes, you do. I show that later on in the video. But you can also use Instacart with other stores in your area, if you don't have a Costco Membership. 🙂

Some items are a little bit more. But EVERY Costco has different prices. Me not even stepping foot into Costco saves me money, lol. So ill take it!

This is the way to go if you have Instacart in your area. Also, it keeps you having to shop with kids causing chaos.

Even when shopping with something like Google Express, the online price is typically higher than in the store. For example, trash bags online are $16.99 vs $14.99 at the store. Dish soap 9.29/7.99. Laundry pods 20.99/17.99. So buyer beware – they tack on a couple $$ for the online convenience.
Do I have to be a Costco member to shop there online through Instacart?
Yes. But instacart has other stores than just Costco in your area–where you won't need a membership. So just an FYI 🙂

So the closes club store is 60 miles one way. Does any one know what kind of products u can order from Costco and Sam's
Malia, we tried insta cart and signed up for it. But we noticed that prices were higher per item compared to when you grab it in store. Somehow, if you total it up, it is not really a save up. Just try comparing it per item wise and you will know what I mean as we already tried it. I think this is helpful if you donât really mind paying some more.

If you return a pricey item, even just once and even if they say you can, you may be banned from shopping online. It's a bad policy that can't be resolved. Buyer beware! We had clearance and proof everything was legit from receipts, bank,etc and we're told nothing can be done. Lots of other members ex. on reddit had same experience. Something seems very fishy..

Melea, my wife and I are considering Costco delivery, but a few things in your video are misleading.
You said delivery is free, but there is a service charge that is in reality, a delivery charge.
Second, item prices are higher on Instacart when compared to actual in-store prices.
I think we'll just keep doing the in-store shopping. Costco is only 3 miles from us and we always go in its least busiest hours. And if you're picky like many, you don't want someone else's choice on what a good cut of meat is or what good produce should look like…

How much did you tip the delivery driver
It is a convenience but I suspect the company makes its money by marking up every item, most of delivery fee goes to their workers. For those who have tried this what is a fair tip. For me 5% seems too little and if you're buying $400 in groceries 10% seems a bit high.
