And it’s seriously going to blow your mind! Just because something is a dollar doesn’t mean it’s a deal. In fact, out of those 30 Back to School Supplies I showed in the video, a lot of them are items you SHOULDN’T BUY!

    • The Melea Show I haven't gone shopping yet and so I need everything including a laptop for college

    • My daughter starts back Aug. 13 and completely done. Just waiting on the last package of a pair of shoes. I always start on clothing at the beginning of summer. Uniforms go on sale when the summer clothes roll out. I just go a size up.

    The cheap ones were 10 for 1$ I saved 4$ 😜

  16. Speaking as a teacher, DO NOT buy the Jot brand pencils. I have never had a good experience with them in the classroom. They do not sharpen well and you end up wasting so much of the pencil. I also do not recommend the Jot brand glue sticks. They just aren't really all that sticky. I don't really like the dry-erase markers either because they can be very difficult to erase and leave a ghost print on the boards. Some of the Jot line is okay and works well, but you have to be very picky. I don't usually mind when my students bring in off brand supplies, but there are some exceptions when it comes to quality and getting the most for you money. Just something to keep in mind.

  29. Thanks! Enjoyed your video–interesting! I tell people the same thing…Dollar Tree deals can fool you so think carefully! I am not typically happy with the quality of most of the Jot brand Dollar Tree pen aisle items! I did buy dry erase markers there for our home dry erase board and I was happy with those but some of the others items were really poor quality which made them not a good deal since you toss them quickly!

  32. I usually just shop for my notebooks paper fillers and pens at dollar tree.
    My binders and folders are bought at Walmart never target because Target is really expensive for me. But since I haven’t been to school in 2 years I honestly haven’t really bought anything yet.

  35. Hi I love your videos and the Jot brand is good on somethings but on glue sticks not really because once you stick whatever you stick to it like paper It will dry fast and the paper will just lift up again so I don’t recommend the glue sticks but other things I do ❤️👌
