I have a question, I am wanting to fly to visit family with just my 2 kids and myself. I think Delta is the cheapest as I've researched. They have a lower price if you don't pick your seats. Does this mean that we could be separated on the flight? My kids are 9 and 3 and have never flown before so they would definitely want to be seated next to me. It is about $30 per ticket cheaper. What do you think?
Im pretty sure they won't let kids sit by themselves…so they would have to put you three together at check in if you aren't already together. If you aren't 100% sure, call up Delta and ask them their policy. Then you can save $90!

Great information… It is getting so much harder to use your points to fly. Do you have tips on booking flights with points? Some of my old ways are no longer working.
Love love google flights! My husband and I have flown to a bunch of countries in Europe in the last couple years because we've found round trip flights for under $500. So crazy! Cheaper to fly the Europe then it is to fly within my own country (Canada)

On Google flights you can ask them to watch a flight for you and send you emails when it changes. It is a specific flight though. It'll bring up your search for all the flights when you follow the link they email you, but it only notifies you for that specific airline and time.
