I want a thermostat. I live in AZ and it gets so freakin hot here so our bill can be huge.
we have had people (teenagers) steal stuff out of our garage. you feel so violated and my kids haven't been the same since. they are older and still don't like to be left at home alone at night and they don't like the dark. I'm talking about a 15 and 13 year old. They were 9 and 7 when it happened. I like the doorbell. I don't think I can't find money, but maybe some day soon, our medical is really, really expensive.

That doorbell camera is cool! I also like the indoor cameras with the 2way talk, that could come in handy as my kids are getting older and we are starting to leave them home for short periods.

Smart anything is not good from my research . . smart means they are spying on you . . listening to you . . all the time . .

Ask the company if there are microphones that can listen to you . . I am currently looking for a system . . but don't want a SMART system . . due to governmental irresponsibility . .
FYI I just called to get a quote and you cannot just get the doorbell. You have to get the doorbell with the home security system.
Yeah, the other doorbell cameras out there don't connect to any sort of alarm system in case of emergency or if someone is actually trying to break in. So I personally wanted that in case I did have some sort of emergency. 🙂

All of this sounds exacly like what I need in my life. Problem is that we will be renting for 2 more years. I'm not sure we can do this on our rental. Also, is this only in Utah or is vivint in all other states too?

My ONLY complaint with these types of systems if if we're on vacation at the in-laws or phones don't work. If the alarm goes off we won't know for a few days. I need an alarm that contacts the police for me when I'm not home.
when my oldest was a couple months old I was home with him while my husband worked in our new house. I heard someone walking around our house so I called my husband who told me it wasn't him. I went downstairs right as someone threwâ a rock through our basement window. I yelled at them that I was calling the cops and they left. super scary!!
