I thought of these:
1. Quarters
2. Crayons
3. Vampire teeth
4. Erasers
Jackie Howard
One year I gave out little rubber ducks that were for Halloween and when put $1 bills with my candy , no one took it.
SuzanneK awful
Jackie Howard just give out candy this is from a kids perspective
Okay.
Jackie Howard
great ideas!! and cuteee
Very few children even trick or treats here anymore so there is no use to buy anything. I can't afford it anyway so for the past ten years I have just turned off the lights and pretended to not be home.
Those are good ideas if you don't want to give out candy though. I always hated it when people gave out apples. It was pointless because my parents always made us throw them away anyway. I have to say though that some of those "healthy treats" are just as sugar filled as any candy.
MaryRachelle C my old neighborhood was like that. I have out dollar bills to the few kids who did come and it was still cheaper than a bag of candy.
Everyone who is watching this video give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to her!
Stickers or travel size coloring kits.
Great ideas!
Love these alternative ideas. Also great for classroom party treats.
Some ideas I have had are bouncy balls (buy in bulk on amazon), stickers, small toys (check out oriental trading co) or children's books from yard sales.
Yes, awesome ideas!!
Melodie Porter I wouldn't do a bouncy balls because little kids could choke on them I'm only saying this because my little sister almost choked on onr
early bird! great ideas ðð
Maybe rights crispies treats that have the little people on the outside dressed up in Halloween outfits
How about pop tarts
I'm planning on special things for younger trick or treaters.
little mini puzzles!
Oooo, great idea!
The Melea Show I also found giant coloring books in the clearance selection of Walmart for .10 each. Major win!
i thought A&W had sugar
nice nice !!
Not Halloween themed but I saw pumpkin spice nutrigrain bars yesterday!
Love these ideas! My son has food allergies so candy is going to be tricky but a lot of these options he can actually have!
Thanks for the heads up on the bars!
Welch s give cancer
Love this video, I'm always trying to find none candy stuff to give for class parties..ðâðâ
Those are awesome ideas! Loved this video!
Buy anything and put Halloween stickers from the dollar store or 99cents store to make it festive
my closest Target is 2:30 hrs away ðand to get to Starbucks it takes an hour.
We do this thing called Trunk-or-Treet and we had to buy over 1,000 pieces of candy!! Every year we run out so we Bought extra this year. But the Trunk or trees is at my church and it's like a safe place for kids in not great neighborhoods to trick or treat. Thought that was kinda cool
Good ideas. I'm giving out glow sticks this year. I really like the bubbles (.12 cents each). I know kids want candy but some kids can't because of food allergies (so no pretzels or goldfish either because of wheat).
Such fun ideas! Great for classroom parties as well! ð
This was fun. When I was a kid I had a neighbor who gave out apples and oranges. Boo! ðð». Lol. Another neighbor gave out coins. Quarters nickels and dimes. Yeah. ðð». Popcorn balls were also really big back then. ð»ð«ðð
I just went and got some glow sticks for kids with allergies but I am wondering if I should give them more.
I have a video of the phone from the giveaway up now thank you soooo much again melea
Oh cool! Can you email me the link?
nice ideas
I've seen Glow stick lollipop sticks before
That's cool!

I would love a bag of popcorn for holoween!!!!ð
