Splurge vs. save, that is the question! I’m BIG on saving money, but I also know which things are worth the splurge. So I’m sharing my 8 favorite things worth the splurge in today’s video! It’s good to know the products worth the money so you can save on other things to help afford a splurge–plus WHEN to splurge is always important too!

My splurges: 1-experiences! Way better than "things". And 2- ice cream haha. Ben and Jerry's is by far my favorite treat!
You're so right about the jeans. I would always buy the cheaper ones that just aren't that comfortable or last very long. I just donated like 6 pairs of the ones that were still decent but didn't fit and decided I'm going to splurge on better fitting and more comfortable jeans. Hair products are also worth the splurge. High end perfume is my splurge and some makeup products.

I splurge on facial moisturizer I am big believer in Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford, no joke best skincare line I've tried. I normally have to switch my facial wash and moisturizer with the changing seasons but not with this one!
I splurge on my jeans… Silver Jeans just fit my body type better. We splurge on Vacations.

When it comes to travel, my husband and I like to get a nice private pool villa with daily breakfast buffet. It's totally worth even traveling with kids.
I splurge mainly on vacation experiences and home improvement projects. Occasionally furniture and I'm probably going to get on the band wagon of really good bras.
Travel for the family. I figure there isn't much that will create memories as much as vacations.
⥠We stayed at the Disneyland resort too and got in an hour early (when our kids were little) and we had so much fun and we could go to our room when the kids got tired. My daughter brought her friend and my kids still talk about it even though they're grown! I believe in spending money on experiences! â¥

Electronics – sometimes you can get away with buying second hand but it's usually outdated.

i feel like i missed something. did u say those designer jeans last u only a year? i got $20 high waisted ones from charlotte russe that I've worn for years now. i couldnt justify spending over 100 on a pair of jeans to last me only a year. one of my biggest splurges was on a car just because i wanted something i feel good in driving, was safe for kiddos and had the options i liked. but if i like something that costs more i just save enough until i get it. I've had things that cost next to nothing and last me years and expensive things last me only a short while.
Good quality shoes cause I'm on my feet all day!

Thank you so much ð¸because today was feeling bad about something's this week and tired of adulting so I just took myself ( and a book) went to my fav little dive and ordered breakfast and a cherry coke. It's not s big thing but as a single momma / ad as women sometimes just gotta surge on yourself – do something for yourself. Also not long ago when I took my kids to mall in our big nearby city for the first time ever I went into Lush – hello!
